The Design



The Ask:

PriceFX explored behavioral data and found that users were interested in their solutions but were confused on which may be best for them. Sometimes users new the exact solution they needed, sometimes they searched for a solution via industry, and sometimes they search for a solution based on the role they had at the company. PriceFX wanted the user journey to be easy to follow regardless of the path they chose.

The Approach:

Step #1: Lay the Groundwork

After depicting the different paths a users may explore or search for solutions, it became apparent that the navigation for the website could help users self sort themeselves into certain solutions. By removing the typical drop down which can get long in length. We decided a mega menu could provide a variety of information and paths for the user.


Step #2: Design

We created a mega menu design utilizing PriceFX's branding. The design allowed for a variety of columns which could be split up into different parent and child relationships. Using text hierarchy to depict parent items for users to self sort by and then providing solutions via child elements below, it made for a easier user experience. We also incorporated additional space for resources and a call-to-action.



The Results:

By creating a mega menu design, we provided flexibility to how PriceFX can categorize and showcase their information/solutions. It allowed users to self identify by industry or role to make sure they found the solutions they needed.
